These shots were taken one random day at UP. I know I have blogged about this a long time ago but my blog entry seem to be missing.
This kid seems to let the time pass inside the campus, or as if he was waiting for something. I asked him if I could take his pictures and he gladly obliged.
A daily dose on a life of a Filipino. Travel blog of someone who wish to see the rest of the Philippines. An inexpensive attempt to experience life a little bit off the beaten track.

On Hope...
Hope itself is a species of happiness, and, perhaps, the chief happiness which this world affords; but, like all other pleasures immoderately enjoyed, the excesses of hope must be expiated by pain.

It is how we define GOAL that defines us
Some of the world's greatest feats were accomplished by people not smart enough to know they were impossible.

2010 Philippine Blog awards
The Next Best Thing:
The Traveling Life was just at The 2010 Philippine Blog Awards
For people whose second life is infront of a computer, blogging is the
next big thing!
The Traveling Life was a finalist for the Best Photo Blog, its a major
category I think! though I didn't win, being there and actually being a finalist
was and yeah, the next best thing! :)
Seeing those human beings who author some of the blogs I follow..and actually sitting beside some of them though I wasn't so surewho among them because it was a bit dark, was exciting! :)
So maybe I did actually impress some of them to be actually included in the major list.. good thing, yeah?
it made me happy to be part of it! it was my first time. the event inspired me to do better!

On Happiness
The art of living does not consist in preserving and clinging to a particular mode of happiness, but in allowing happiness to change its form without being disappointed by the change; happiness, like a child, must be allowed to grow up.

Life's Little Blessings
I had the blues because I had no shoes until upon the street, I met a man who had no feet.

LEARNING

… there would be points is our lives when we want to try something we find not ordinary…something unusual, or so we thought

… we get chances where we could actually test the waters… see how things turn out

… then at one point, once we are over and done weighing pros and cons…we decide to make that one big step

… it may feel very unstable at the beginning… the shaking crushes your courage

… until we have overcome our fear…we suddenly realize the strokes are in tune

… the touch of the air against your entire being… it calms you, assures you that everything that surrounds you are as prudent as they show

… we let the feeling linger ‘til our hearts out… in great anticipation of what else is in store

… until one day we wake up and recognize that the thing we were so excited about in the launch.. was just a mere fad and nothing more
